SERVICE OF THE FULL MOON : HIEROS GAMOS

In the Egyptian Rites of the Grand Lodge of ATH-KA-PTAH, heirs of the Initiation of Atlantis,
originally taught by the Divine Masters of AHA-MEN-PTAH,
the Great Architect of the Universe, the God PTAH, educates, leads and protects Humankind
through countless Emanations, the main ones being the Gods of the Egyptian Pantheon, the Neters (NETERU).

Some Neters are specially assigned to watch over the Evolution of the Planet Earth and Humankind.
With regard to you personally, the Neters can reveal your Life Plane,
your programme of embodiment, your inherent nature, your more or less latent potential
and all that you can achieve in your earthly life.

Although Neters exist on an ethereal plane,
they are as real and infinitely more enlightened and powerful than Human beings.
They will bestow their support provided you show perseverance, purity of intention and confidence in them.

You must acknowledge they are not simply Entities external to you,
whose help you will ask during certain rites,
but Divine Forces which shall penetrate you, live within you and of course guide you.

During the Rite of the Full Moon, a unique phenomenon will occur and may transform your life.
Your Neter must incorporate himself in you to develop
his qualities, capacities, strength and intelligence definitively within you.
You will become a New person, a potentially radiant and active Initiate, a MUTANT, a Son of THOTH-HERMES

"Ptah, Sekhmet, Nefertoum" by Stuart Littlejohn.

On the Night of the Full moon, the Egyptian Masons of ATH-KA-PTAH celebrate the Ritual Union of PTAH,
God of Memphis with SEKHMET, the Lion Goddess, Daughter of RA.
This Ceremony is held in the MAMASI "House of Birth"
where the Mystery of the Embodiment of NEFERTUM, the Divine Child, takes place.

To participate in this Hierogamy (Hieros Gamos), the Mystic Mason must don the Bridal Gown of Light,
the AKH, Light of the Spirit; but the AKH must be earned…
and this requires long self-endeavour.
The Myst must kill the Old Man and eliminate all the negative forces imprisoning his being.
With the Help of the Neter, he must guide his thoughts towards the beneficial purposes he has assigned to himself.
In the Temple of Neters, he has promised the Goddess NEITH, the Divine Weaver,
"To be the eyes of the blind and a clear voice for the deaf,
to be a healing balm for the wounded and a herbal potion for the sick,
to be a stick for the weak and a shield for those surrounded by enemies
."

His Spiritual Virtues must serve his work,
so that his spirituality does not go one way,
and his physical or intellectual efforts another way;
so his thoughts and acts form the weft and the warp with which is woven the Bridal Gown of Light,
which alone can guarantee admittance to the Mystic Wedding of PTAH and SEKHMET.

The Rite of the Full Moon must be preceded by the Great Ritual of Djehuti-Thoth,
God of CHMUNU, Master of Magic and Medicine.

EGYPTIAN TANTRISM (School of Panapolis - Khent-Menou)

RITE

On the Night of the Full Moon, stand before a Mirror. Visualise the MAMISI on the terrace of the Temple.
Mentally trace a Circle of Fire around you and speak the Invocation:

"Anet-hra.k. Do-ah mu tef, Aam-set, Qe-ebeh-sen-noof, Hh-ah-pee, Meskhenet Ankh.v em T'etta. a ! "

Look at yourself in the Mirror and say:

"Hail, o my KA!
Look! I am still here! I am alive!
I come to you filled with vigour and magic power...
I arise as does the Sun,
In possession of an immortal Soul and an invincible will,
I bring you incense to purify your emanations.
The evil I have spoken, the evil I have done,
Do not reproach me with it!
Because really I am this Emerald Tablet
Hanging from the neck of RA,
Placed there by the Spirits,
Who live in the House of two Horizons.

If they prosper, I prosper too,
Because my Double is the same as their Double
."

Speak the Invocation to the Internal God:

Breathe regularly and deeply,
then on inhaling raise your arms stretched out in a V above your head,
with the palms facing inward.
Stay a few moments with your arms outstretched above your head.
then on inhaling open and lower your outstretched arms
until they drop into place on either side of the body in an inverted V,
with the palms facing forward.
In this position you can feel the rays of energy leaving your fingers.

Stay some minutes in this position, breathing in long deep breaths
and feeling the rising energy of the Earth which the body inhales with every breath.

On exhaling,
bend your elbows and accompany your hands as they rise and cross before your breast,
the right hand on the left,
Feel yourself wrapped as in a cape of energy.
Feel the Presence of the Divine Child NEFERTUM in the Naos of your Heart;

Speak the Invocation to NEFERTUM:

"I am the mysterious Lotus: splendour in the purity...
I advance in the midst of the sanctified Spirits,
Towards the nostrils of the God RA;
I walk and I seek Him.
Look: I am pure! I arrive at the Fields of the Blissful,
Hail, Divine Lotus, you who appears with the features of the God NEFERTUM,
Son of PTAH and SEKHMET

In truth, I know your Hidden Name,
Your multiple Names known only to the Gods.
Because I am one of yours, o Gods!
KHAT, my Body is the Goddess SEKHMET?
BA, my Soul is the Divine Child NEFERTUM,
AKH my Spirit is the God PTAH
!"

Begin the Invocation of the HIEROS GAMOS rite:

At this moment, you must feel the presence of the Egyptian Instructor;
He shall produce astral Pictures before you in your Sanctum.
Look at your face in the mirror:
you will see white flashes of lightning at the level of your forehead,
then your face will disappear and be replaced by another
or by the brilliant vision of your Neter.

After a few minutes of contemplation,
in the mirror you will visualise the Image of NEFERTUM, once God of Lower Egypt,
Divine Lotus, Son of PTAH and SEKHMET.
He was represented as a young man
whose headdress was a lotus flower, two feathers and two menats.

Speak the Egyptian Invocation :

After a moment of Communion with the Neter, mentally douse the Circle of Fire by saying:
"Anet-hra.k. Do-ah mu tef, Aam-set, Qe-ebeh-sen-noof, Hh-ah-pee, Meskhenet Ankh.v em T'etta. a ! "

Retire to bed after the Rite.
When you are laid down with the lights out, let yourself go limp and relax.
Then do the exercise of the Priests of THOTH to enter consciously into sleep.
