Masonic Temple

The Grand Lodge of ATH-KA-PTAH resembles the original Lodges
created by the Master IMHOTEP in the early days of Egypt.
It is also their present-day legacy, awoken from the long deep sleep it slept while it awaited the fulfilment of the current cycle of evolution.

A first veil was thrown by the initiated before they withdrew.
Over the course of time others came to conceal the symbols.
Today the veils arise and light returns amongst mankind so that nothing will evermore be hidden.

In the Masonic Temple, only the principal things remains:
three Columns now surround the Officers of the Lodge,
and suffice to define the limits of the Sacred Space.

The Altar of Oaths has become the Altar of Unity around the Crystal
which receives and transmits energy between people and the Universe.

The Cubic Stone is finished and the work is carried out in the immediate presence of PTAH,
the Great Architect of the Universe.

Since the return of the Spirit, the Lost Word is no more.
The Bond is fastened with the Word which alone will henceforth teach the Freemasons,
far from all past speculations.

The Rite which is accomplished has become the Rite of the Alliance with all the universal forces in which the Masons can now participate in full freedom and consciousness.

There every Officer of the Lodge occupies the post corresponding to the energies
for which he is responsible, for the harmony and good of all.

The profusion of ranks has been abandoned in favour of the three original ones:

- the Entered Apprentice who learns how to master exercises
on the physical, psychic and energetic levels as the implements of his future transformation;

- the Fellowcraft Mason who knows how to wield these instruments
and uses them to travel the path of the mutations of consciousness towards his liberation;

- the Master who has accomplished the mutations required for entry to the internal Temple
and who, after having crossed the Temple of PTAH,
is admitted into the service of the Temples of ATH-BEN-BEN and RA-NETJER-AA-NEB-HET
in the House of Life.

Reception of a Candidate for Mysteries

Great Ancestors’ Crypt (Living Gods)

Before getting into the surrounding wall of the Temple,
The Candidate has to come down into the Ancestors’ crypt

Being alone, he will be confronted with his Ancestors,
then with the Great Ancestors (the Living Gods).
His Ancestors represent his roots, his genetic inheritance, his lineage.
This lineage can accept or refuse his initiation;
It has to grant him his Blessing so that, released from this implanting,
He can aspire to the new life, within the Temple.

The Great Ancestors are the ones who welcome him in this cave.

The Great Ancestors represent the collective Memory of the Order,
this collective Memory his own ancestors have to confide him to
And who will become his new spiritual family,
Rich with all the past experiences of the Eggregore of the Order.

This passage is critical,
He is there alone, because his fate is hanging in the balance;
And if the Master has allowed him to face these darkness and attends,
Invisible though, to this confrontation,
He cannot, at this moment, infringe the Candidate’s free will.

During this experience (the Reflexion Cabinet of the Egyptian Masonry)
All the fears buried inside him are going to come out,
Informal fears of childhood in front of darkness,
Feelings of desolation or absurd or terror in front of emptiness,
Even panic in front of the renunciations that he knows to be required before getting involved.

The outcome of this confrontation will decide on his future:
After having faced and mastered his fears, he will then be able to return into the light
And make his way towards the Doors of the Temple.
