ATH-KA-PTAH, LAND OF MYSTERIES

![]()
The
Grand Lodge of ATH-KA-PTAH, Egyptian Masonry,
Heiress to the Schools of Mysteries
of Pharaonic Egypt,
Distributes Initiatory Mysteries in its Lodges and Temples.
Hermetism (Magic, Medicine) and Alchemy are taught in the Houses of Life ( Per-Ankh).

"Every light comes from Orient, every initiation from Egypt"
CAGLIOSTRO (Great Copte of the Egyptian Masonry)
The Grand Lodge of ATH-KA-PTAH, Egyptian Operative Masonry, shows masons
how
to reconcile two apparently conflicting visions of the world:
one analytical
and objective (left brain), the other unified and intuitive (right brain).
In
the Lodges it teaches both the rational and the mystic ways.
The Egyptian masons
practise Theurgy (Invocation to Neters) and internal Alchemy
to achieve Regeneration.
It
is through Ka that one may understand Pharaonic Egypt in depth
and seize the
spiritual inheritance which it proposes,
rather than through the ego and book
learning.
It is not enough for a mason to write a masonic paper on Initiation
to become a Follower
and gain access to the Arcana Arcanorum.
The
Egyptian Rite of Men-Nefer contains three High Ranks:
Egyptian Entered Apprentice,
Egyptian Fellowcraft, Egyptian Master.
Only Masters from other rites may be
received as Egyptian Entered Apprentices.
They will be received as Fellowcrafts
after 3 years and Fellowcrafts will become Masters after 7 years.
The
Grand Lodge of ATH-KA-PTAH is commanded by the Great Hierophant PTAHMOSE.
The
Supreme Council of the Egyptian Rite of Men-Nefer limits the number of its Lodges
to 42.
They represent the 42 Nomes of the Double Realm of Egypt:
22 Nomes
of Lower Egypt and 20 Nomes of Upper Egypt.
A
Lodge of Men-Nefer contains 3 Lodges or 3 Chambers.
In this rite the Entered
Apprentice and the Fellowcrafts have two separate Lodges ,
one on the left,
the other on the right of the Middle Chamber, the lodge of the Masters.
The
House of Life (Per Ankh), the Lodge consists of 72 Entered Apprentices
working
in the 1st Degree in the left Chamber and
24 Fellowcrafts working in the 2nd
Degree in the right Chamber
12 Masters operate in the Middle Chamber.
The
object of the Egyptian Rite of Men-Nefer is to develop in the Masons who practise
it
a regeneration of the nine components of being:
Khat, Sekhem, Ren, Khaïbit,
Ba, Ab, Ka, Akh and Sa-Hu.
The role of our Grand Lodge is to initiate the Mystagogues
into the Mysteries,
transform them internally
and help them pass through
the Door of Mysteries,
so they may be admitted into the Priestly Initiations
of the Temple of PTAH.
The Temple of Ptah endows the Egyptian Master with priestly
Initiation
by transmission of the Minor and Major orders of the Temple of
Memphis (Het-Ka-Ptah).
The Mystagogue Priests of PTAH will help him cross
the 9 degrees of the initiatory course
to merge with the Divine and metamorphose
into Neter.
The Temple commanded by An-Nu PTAHMOSE,
Pontiff
at the head of the priestly College of the High Priests,
embraces the clergies
of Memphis, Heliopolis, Thebes and Hermopolis.
Only Egyptian Master Masons
may postulate for priestly Initiation,
which is only given at an internal level.
Finally,
the supreme degree of Initiation is endowed by the Upper Clergy
of Iunu-Heliopolis,
in
the Great Pyramid of RÂ at the ethereal level,
the "Lock Chamber",
leading to the High Initiation
of the Grand Lodge of Sothis (Sirius).

HYMN TO PTAH
"Hail to You, PTAH the Great, who
stands-at-the-south-of-his-wall,
TO TJENEN who dwells in Memphis,
August
God of the first time,
He who shaped men and created Neters,
Primeval,
who made the life of humankind.
What he said in his heart came into being;
He who announces what is not yet,
Who renews what already is.
Without
Him nothing is.
Things come into being when he comes into being, every day,
As he determined.
You placed the Double Country to follow his laws, as you
created it.
Egypt stands firm under your orders,
As it was in the beginning.
Praise to your Ka, PTAH who stands-at-the-south-of-his-wall,,
To the beautiful
face, Lord of Life-of-double-country"

HYMN TO SEKHMET
"Hail to You, SEKHMET the
Powerful,
Unceasing praise to your beautiful face,
August Goddess of the
House-of-Ptah,
Venerable SEKHMET, Lady of the heavens,
Diadem of RÊ,
divine Eye in the PER-OUR
Diadem of RÊ, divine Eye in the Venerable
House,
His OUTO in the palace,
His diadem in the Boat-of-night,
His
partner in the Boat-of-day.
May she make APOPIS be beguiled
And may she
walk against him, having seized the javelin;
SEKHMET the Great, loved by PTAH,
Lady of the Sky, mistress of the Double-Land
Queen of the Venerable, Lady
of the House of Life!
PTAH, Your Spouse, Smith and Alchemist is the Grand
Master of our Lodges,
He draws His power from the Fire of Earth
and from
the Strength of Precious Stones and Metals.
O SEKHMET frees PTAH from his
fetters of matter,
Allow the transmutation of metals waiting to Awaken within
the Earth
Bless you, SEKHMET the Lion Goddess, destructive and purifying Fire
Who presides over the earthly and spiritual gestation of each being.
May Your
well-directed Energy lead us by a Transmutation
Which will pass through Your
Son NEFERTUM, Water of Rebirth!"
